Deià the village
Deià is one of the most picturesque and cosmopolitan villages in Mallorca (www.ajdeia.net). It is well worth taking the time to amble round the narrow alleys and passageways, take a swim on the idyllic coast, or walk the leafy paths that thread their way through the surrounding hillsides. Light, colour, landscape, harmony and tranquillity abound in this little part of the Mallorcan Tramontana, where time seems to have stood still.
