The cultural setting
The Hotel Es Molí is itself an art gallery. Its walls are covered with oils, watercolours, sketches and lithographs by different artists, many of them residents of Deià. It isn’t surprising that many guests bring their paintbrushes to capture the magnificent landscape on canvas.
For music lovers, two famous festivals take place very near the hotel: Deià International Festival (www.dimf.com) and The Valldemossa Chopin Festival (www.festivalchopin.com). Both events feature the most renown and accomplished performers of the season. Many clients of the hotel Es Molí are drawn to return year after year for these two international events, a testament to their quality.
